We caught up on this
We caught up on this season's first two episodes of Ed last night, and they were truly excellent television. Really solidly written and noticeably well acted. Three shows you should be watching: The Sopranos, The West Wing, and Ed.
It occurred to me last night that one of the reasons the current crop of scripted television seems so good to me is because I watch in the fine company of my lovely and talented wife. Not only is she lovely and talented, making her a de facto joy to be with, this is the community principle at work. Having a companion or group with whom to share anything at all — a hobby, game, sport, TV show, or whatever — makes it better.
