Vegas, Baby

In April, barring a revision in the forward progress of time, I will turn 30. To commemorate the event, I'm going to Vegas. And I hope you'll come with me.

The plan is this: Go to Vegas.

The dates are these: April 15-17 (a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

The agenda is as follows: Engage in merriment.

I'm hoping that three months of advance notice and a fun-in-its-own-right destination will tempt even folk outside SoCal to come for the weekend to hang out, play some games, play some poker, drink some drinks, and engage in general merriment.

So, if you think you might be interested in coming along for a Hey Everybody I'm Thirty Extravaganza, drop me an e-mail or post a comment.

Heather and I are in as long as we can actually redeem all these stupid points we earned for airfare like they claim we can.

Should we all stay in the same hotel for convenience? Is Stacey as uninterested in poker as Heather? Could we then ditch the ladies and play a few games or just stick to the other attractions? How about a show? What can beat white tigers on your 30th?

Any thoughts?

Yes, definitely. I'd like to stay on the strip, but I'm willing to stay elsewhere if it would let more people come, or come more budget-comfortably.

Yes.

I was thinking there'd be a combination of splitting up at times but also doing plenty of non-poker things en masse, as well.

How about a show? What can beat white tigers on your 30th?

I'm all for a show. I'm dying to see O, but that may be price prohibitive. I've seen Blue Man Group but would see it again. I'm open to suggestions, especially if there's a good comedy headliner in town somewhere that weekend.
