"Unashamed Simplicity"
As I was reading "The Guts of a New Machine," an article about the iPod's design, on The New York Times website (registration required), it occurred to me how stupendous it would be if Apple designed a cell phone. It would do away with all the stupid crap, elevate ease-of-use, look great, integrate seamlessly with your computer, and do it all in a way no existing cell phone does. It would function as a Bluetooth modem without odious setup, naturally, and work with your choice of carrier.
I would pay a lot of money for an Apple-designed cell phone.
