Two weeks ago, we bought
Two weeks ago, we bought a refrigerator. To be precise, we bought a General Electric 24.9 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Dispenser Model GSS25KGMWW. (If I ran the refrigerator company, I would name refrigerators like they name cars. I would produce refrigerators named Siberia. Icix XR. Avalanche. Walter. Perhaps not Walter, on second thought. But I digress.) On Saturday, our refrigerator was delivered. It rocks. On toast. Also, I rock on toast, because I tapped a cold water pipe, installed a saddle valve (illegal in Massachusetts, warns the manual, but apparently fine everywhere else), drilled holes in our cabinets, ran tubing behind the dishwasher, and hooked it all up so the refrigerator can deliver pleasantly filtered water and ice (cubed or crushed, thanks for wondering) at our whim. In the double-bonus category, the freezer will fit a frozen pizza lying down.
