Top Secret Projects

I started work in earnest today on [TOP SECRET], a freelance game writing project for [TOP SECRET]. They're announcing it at the GAMA Trade show in two weeks, at which point it won't be [TOP SECRET] anymore and I can give all y'all some details.

I'm doing 60,000 words for the project over the next two months, a significantly less than full time writing pace, especially at RPG writing wages. I expect to continue work on the Ice Horror project at the same time, though. The paying game work basically amounts to an extension of the time we can afford to go before it becomes absolutely necessary to mount a hard core day job search.

For the last week or so, I've been preparing a pitch to Valhalla Motion Pictures. It's based on a comic book they have under option from Top Cow. I don't know if it's [TOP SECRET] or not, but there's no sense guessing wrong. Most likely nothing will come of it, but even if not, it's good practice.
