Tomorrow it's off to Minneapolis
Tomorrow it's off to Minneapolis for the big Mathson family reunion. (Which actually takes place in Whitehall, Wisconsin, but we'll be staying with Stacey's parents in Mounds View.) Stacey's brother is picking us up from the airport and whisking us away to Kieran's Irish Pub to hear The Tim Malloys for a bit. The family reunion is on Saturday, we'll hang out with my parents on Sunday, and then visit with some friends on Sunday night. I'm not sure what we're doing on Monday. On Tuesday, Stacey flies home while I'm off by car (with special thanks to Kelly and The Don) to Chicago. I'll crash at Noted Genius Ken Hite's place and then meet up with Joe Donaghue and Jeff Rothecker on Wednesday morning, continuing by car to GenCon. I fly home the following Monday.
I'm tired just writing about it all, but must remember that much fun will be had, I'll see a lot of great friends, hang out with some of the extended family we hardly ever see, and get down with my bad self at the Best Four Days in Gaming.
