Today's Daily Variety reports that Curtis Hanson (director of Wonder Boys, The Hand that Rocks the Cradle, and upcoming 8 Mile; co-screenwriter of L.A. Confidential) will direct a project called Lucky You for Warner Bros, about the world of high-stakes professional poker, from an original screenplay by Eric Roth (writer of Forrest Gump and The Insider).
