Throw Away Your PDA

PocketMod is a web and Flash-based tool for creating a disposable day-planning micro-booklet out of a single piece of paper. Carry one around in your back pocket for a few days, then make a new one and recycle the old one.

PocketMod isn't quite there in its current form, but the 2.0 version discussed on the site sounds like it will really realize this thing's potential, with the ability to customize the pages themselves before print-and-folding. If the assembly app could auto-import flagged data from a desktop calendar and address book (or better yet, semi-intelligently guess what info I'm going to need in the next week), I really would throw away my PDA.

I'm going to print one of these out and give it a try this week with my multiple and copious to-do lists. I'll post about how it goes next week.

Call me a techno-phobe, but I can't get past my old fashioned spiral bound calendar littered with sticky notes.
