Thoughts on commuting: 1) Always live east of your job. This way, you will drive away from the sun in both the morning and the evening. 2) Commute with someone. Environmental considerations aside, its a much more pleasant trip when you've got someone to talk to, even if you're an introvert like me. 3) Do anything you can to keep your trip under thirty minutes each way. Your mileage may vary, but more than that and the length of the drive begins to make me nuts.
