Thelma & Louise in 25 Words or Less
A stunningly good story that goes to just the right places at just the right times. A real triumph of narrative. Grade: A
Stacey and I tried to watch this on AMC on Friday night, but between the pan-and-scanning and awful curse dubs, we were physically compelled to turn it off even though we had persevered to a really involving portion of the story. Fortuitously, I happened to see the DVD sitting on the shelf at the library the day after and picked it up. In addition to seeing the film cut as intended, we were surprised at how much better the sound and picture were. I'm done watching movies on commercial television.
