The sons of a mad
The sons of a mad Steward tie for the most popular The Lord of the Rings character to identify with, which is not surprising, I suppose. I can't so much see my dad as the mad Steward type, but everybody had it different at home. This poll did point out a deficiency in the jefftidball.com readership, however ó we haven't got a lost Ranger-king desperately in love with an Elf-maiden. I'll have to see about getting us one of those.
The next poll, which you should see up there on the left even as you read this, is actually a practical one, aimed at finding out how many days worth of posts should remain on this page at once. I intentionally keep the number limited (and post no archives) in keeping with the spirit of the jefftidball.com manifesto (which could do with some minor tweaks and revising, actually), but there's no sense scrolling posts away before even the most diligent visitors get a chance to read them.
