The Long Drought of Bloggage
So it's been like that, with the not so much blogging.
Here's something I think is generally true: Do it right, or don't do it.
Here's another thing I think is pretty important: Don't go around saying things about how people ought to do things, and then not do them yourself. That's hypocrisy, Willis. While it's not the worst of all conceivable hobbies, when they were choosing up teams at recess in elementary school, nobody chose the hypocrite first. That's all I'm saying.
So, anyway, I'm thinking about giving up on blogging, either temporarily or permanently. I'll probably decide about that one of these days. Here's what I don't want to do: Just not blog anymore, but leave this page all hanging around like a ghost town, waiting for the scripts to break down and permissions to rot away and all suchlike.
The various portions of this, I fear, are not so much hanging together like a coherent piece of composition. But I've resolved to stop not blogging because the spiriting is willing but the Internal Editor refuses to work.
So, anyway, it's been like that, with the not so much blogging.

You're not even going to write about the bash in Las Vegas, my friend? Sewiously, you're killing me in freezing MN. Craigslist can only keep me occupied for so long.
Don't give up. Rather than do that, you should commit to a small and managable schedule, like one article a week. Consider it your writing challenge.
So, why not just blog when the spirit moves you, and not blog when it doesn't? Lord knows, that's what I do. I don't see anything hypocritical about it. It's your blog, dude. Post if you want to.
Shut up and blog!
I'm with Jer on this. I, and I think most of the people I know, view our own blogs as "when we feel like it" things. I'm certainly not holding myself out as a role model, but I am a firm believer in the axiom that one need not be a prolific blogger to bring joy to one's friends and blog-readers. As long as it doesn't sit and rot for years, you're safe from your own "ghost town" fears.
:)
Hey, at least a game industry flame war about your political views didn't erupt while you were out of the country. That sort of thing can kill a blog. :)
