HK roots evident, but well adapted for America. Great story, deals well with the Heat-like problem of an equally beloved hero and anti-hero. Grade: A

Comments

There (no spoilers) character deaths in that movie that are stunningly well handled, considering that just about every roll in that movie is well cast by recognizable actors. Like some of the great shows on television of late, an actor's station doesn't determine the circumstances of his character's death in The Departed, and for that I hug it.
