So here's a problem:

I've been keeping my database of script send-outs and prodco contacts in a customized FileMaker Pro database. The original database was assembled on my G3 PowerBook using a copy of FileMaker Pro 4.0 that I bought on eBay for twenty bucks or so. So far, so good.

When I got my G4 PowerBook, it came with a trial version of FileMaker Pro 6.0. Foolishly, I used that to make a few updates to the database. Now, of course, the trial has expired and I can't get the 6.0 file open.

I went this morning to install 4.0 on the G4 (because at least I saved a version of the database before the file updated to version 6.0), but discovered that the eBay version is on floppies, and the G4 has no floppy drive.

So.

Does anyone out there have a Mac with a floppy drive and the know-how to convert the information on my two FileMaker Pro 4.0 installation floppy disks into some kind of disk image I can use to get the program onto my G4? Alternately, can anyone out there with FileMaker Pro 6.0 convert my database into some universal (tab-delimited or what have you) database format so I can suck out the information with a text editor?

(I am not interested, by the way, in obtaining an illegal copy of FileMaker 6.0.)
