I can't decide if this is a sarcastic shitfilter entry -- is there even such a thing? I agree that their message is important for people to understand (and that many "netizens" are completely oblivious to issues of IP and copyright), but these people seem too serious by half. (I think it helps get the message across if you acknowledge that the Internet is a free-for-all and fair use is a grey area with few absolutes.) Frankly, anyone who gets in a huff about "deep linking" in this day and age is living in foil hat territory.

(And don't get me started on the retro-acronym-ers!)

Also, for people who are worried about graphics being stolen, they have some of the most hideous graphics around.

Not sarcastic at all — I think the message is important, and that people need to be more aware about exactly what constitutes misappropriation. Education is a very important first step; I'd like to believe that people who understand where the moral (not to mention legal) high ground is will generally want to go there.

I also found the link buttons pretty horrible. I like the design of the site itself, though.
