Pizza Hut Online
Working late tonight and decided to order a pizza with my inestimable co-worker Dave. I'm an Internet kinda guy, so I fired up the Pizza Hut website to place my order online. I didn't feel too bad about the extra front end work of signing up for an account on their system. One imagines the need for pizza at work is likely to recur, and I figured pizza procurement would go more smoothly in the future if I had an account.
The sign-up process was annoying, but the ordering process was a true nightmare. The user interface is right out of 1997 and the graphic design is utterly worthless. Here's one clue for free, Pizza Hut: If every piece of text on your site is bold, or italicized, or red, or really big, then nothing stands out. And furthermore, it makes your eyes bleed.
After far too much time spent trying to make the site send me a medium pepperoni pizza ó specials browsed, toppings selected, total price calculated, checkout button found after a long game of HTML hide-and-seek ó the system (after flat-out failing once) informed me that my order didn't meet the minimum requirement for delivery! They couldn't have mentioned up front that there was a minimum order for delivery?!
Then, I am ashamed to say, I just added some breadsticks to get the total up above the minimum. I was weak, and I just wanted my damn pizza. But please, don't let my horrific experience end in vain. Learn from my mistakes, and avoid ordering from this awful site, no matter what.
No link has been provided to Pizza Hut online, to protect the innocent ó you.

I have had decent luck ordering online from Papa John's, including Internet-only specials. When last I checked, however, they didn't accept plastic via the website, which is a distinct bummer.
You are a weak man Mr. Tidball, what kind of example have you set my children? How have you punished the guilty.
I am ashamed! Ashamed I say.
