People here at Gold Circle
People here at Gold Circle seem sad to see me leave, which is nice. Not nice that they are sad, of course, but nice that they seem to like me well enough that they would prefer I stay.
All factors weighed, I am not sad to go. Of course, there are people here that I will miss, and that will be sad. If any of them read this — though I don't think any of them do — they will know who they are. But overall, I have tarried overlong in this dim realm of photocopying, box hauling, and supply wrangling. Compared to the new position, especially, this one is easy to get over.
(Re-reading The Lord of the Rings apparently makes me write things like "tarried overlong blah blah blah." Ahem.)
