On Adventures, Choosing One's Own
This business of choosing One's Own Adventure that replaced Choose or Perish after the Ultimate Final Choose or Perish Smackdown...
...not such a good idea, that. In fact, I have become so thoroughly bored with it that I can't bring myself to write a new installment, even when I know it will involve waffles, which are a priori hi-larious
The Choosing of One's Own Adventure might have fared better if I had the commercial version of Poll It, which keeps a record of all prior polls, making it possible to read the whole story to date. But I doubt it.
It seems reasonable to re-inaugurate (re-naugurate?) Choose or Perish by pitting it against Choose Your Own Adventure until the predictable occurs. I have resisted the urge to include the voting option "Choose Your Own Adventure or Perish," because that would not tell anyone anything, now would it?
