Off to the LotR Marathon
After I'm done writing this, I'll be off to the Arclight in Hollywood to numb my butt for fourteen hours or so watching the entire The Lord of the Rings trilogy from front to back. It's high geekery, to be sure, and we have relatively awful seats, but it's the kind of unique opportunity for high geekery that rolls around very rarely, so there was really no way to say no.
