Lotsa fun, satisfying like frappuccino, plus one major fourth-wall demolishing bad call. More Soderberghs should be turned loose to make pop/corn flicks. Grade: B

I was mildly disappointed with 12. It wasn't "bad" but it wasn't as good as the first one. I found the first one, for lack of a better word (while being the perfect word) "charming." It had flaws in the logic and whatnot but its innate charm made it a truly enjoyable movie. The sequel had less charm and more flaws which threw the balance out of whack. It had wonderful moments and had flashes of the charm which made the first one so enjoyable, but it was most certainly less than the first offering.
Still, I do agree, more Soderberghs making popcorn flicks would be good.
