Notes on Travel to the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul
1. Spotted on the way to the airport: A red Lincoln Towncar. If you had asked me before, I would have told you they only made black Lincoln Towncars. License plate: "GETOFAB." (Of course.)
2. The TSA Captains of Scrutiny were especially diligent today at Terminal 2. They were also very polite.
3. "Come to Duluth," by Vinnie and the Stard¸sters, is stuck in my head. And I mean completely lodged. (And at, Canal Park / You can buy a shellacked piece of bark, and / Some Injun moccasins, and / Some pottery made by Duluthians...)
4. This instance of travel further confirms that the real reason you bought a laptop is so you can watch DVDs while you are on a plane.
5. It's not as cold as all that here in Minnesota. Yet.
