Not Insane After All

No one cares but me, but I'd like to demonstrate that I was not (totally) insane in my rantings at writing group last night. There is, in fact, a bible verse relating to heat, chill, and spitting, though it is not in the Old Testament as I claimed. I give you Revelation 3:15-16, from the online text of the King James bible:

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
