Nephew for Council

John Nephew, my good friend, and my boss for many years at Atlas Games, is running for a city council seat in Maplewood, Minnesota. He recently asked me to be the treasurer of his campaign committee, an invitation I was honored and excited to accept. Tomorrow the committee will file its first wodge of campaign finance reporting paperwork with the city of Maplewood, as required when one's campaign collects or spends more than $750 in a single year.

You might or might not know John. You probably don't live in Maplewood. But Ryan Dancey (who you also may or may not know) wrote compellingly yesterday about why none of that matters, and why you should probably hop over to John's website and make a contribution to political sanity and integrity in America.

We file tomorrow, people; get to it.
