Martian Death Flu

Stacey, Edward, and I spent the weekend having the Martian Death Flu. Edward started showing symptoms on Thursday morning, and by 10:00 Thursday night, I had both ends worth, too. Stacey started in about an hour after I did. By 3:00 in the morning, I was on an IV at the emergency room.

Of the people who've preceded and followed us in this particular bug's path of contagion, somewhere around a third have been to the hospital before the end of it. I was definitely as sick as I've been in five years, maybe in ten. Trust me, you do not want this thing, no matter what you're avoiding at work.

Anyway, Stacey and I are feeling better now. Though Edward's still kicking the last bits of it, he's going to be fine, too.

Good times.
