Good Lord, that's chilling. (And I already knew it was bad.) Yikes. I guess we all have to sign up to vote by absentee ballot.

I would suggest reading this article like a stock analyst's report - read the facts and skip the commentary.

The issue, it seems to me, is a simple and non-partisan one. Whatever voting system is used, errors will occur, and there must be a reasonably reliable method to verify the results. Most direct recording voting systems seem to fail this test.

The author, I think, weakens the argument on this point by straying into other matters.
