Kinsey in 25 Words or Less

More interesting than the biography warrants because it's about sex. Skaarsgaard, in particular, seemed well-cast. Grade: B+

On a personal note, this is one of a couple of scripts that came out 'round about 2004 that I covered while I was working for Gold Circle Films. I recall the Kinsey script being quite good. I recall The Assassination of Richard Nixon being not quite as good, and Lucky Number Slevin being the best script I have ever read. (But then again, it amounted to a love letter to me.) Obviously, Slevin was less than perfectly translated to screen.

I thought Slevin was quite good right up until the end. They pegged it as a Usual Suspects type movie but then they go and over-explain everything at the end instead of leaving some things to the imagination.
