GenCon SoCal

It's all good at GenCon SoCal so far. My time so far has been split between sitting on panels (today: RPG world-building, selling your game designs, and getting a job in the industry) and doing Tomo work via wifi.

Why the former? Because I signed up to be a guest of honor in order to inflate my ego and get a free badge.

Why the latter? Because the Tomo powers that be told me I didn't have to take vacation days yesterday and today as long as I got my work done and kept up with my e-mail. (Originally, Tomo was going to exhibit and I was going to be working the show, but they pulled out earlier in the week ó SORA isn't ready for prime time ó and left me in a bind between panel commitments on one hand and lack of vacation days on the other.)

Tomorrow: Godstorm! Why not play the game for the first time in a tournament? What could go wrong?
