Eggo Syrup Update
I recently saw the new Eggo syrup about which I wrote several weeks ago at the local grocery store and purchased a bottle. In addition, I purchased a box of 16 Buttermilk flavored Eggo frozen waffles.

I know what you're thinking: The no-drop spout may have worked brilliantly for the first few waffle-augmentation events, but about halfway through, it probably fell apart in an amazing impersonation of, say, a Geo Metro. But no, doubters. The no-drip state of affairs persisted until I had used all of the syrup in the bottle. (Additional, Eerie Note: The quantity of syrup within one bottle of Eggo brand syrup corresponds exactly to the amount of syrup required to consume 16 Eggo brand waffles. Coincidence, or conspiracy? You be the judge.)
Was the syrup tasty, you ask? What kind of yardstick is that in this era of miraculous no-drip bottles? You may as well ask whether the invasion of Iraq turned up any Weapons of Mass Destruction. I am happy to report, however, that the Eggo syrup was perfectly adequate. I give it a B, or perhaps even a B+. I still prefer the taste of my regular brand, but I now get the best of both worlds because...
When the Eggo bottle was empty, I washed it out and filled it with Log Cabin Lite.
