A horrible mismanagement of a few good ideas and a couple interesting characters. Surely you jest, Mr. Goldman. Grade: D

A truly new dramatic facet of the hoary old courtroom drama. Power acting, plotting like a dogfight. Cusack, apparently, doesn't pick bad scripts. Grade: B+

You sit there and think, "Please, let it add up convincingly in the end... that would be awesome...." But, sadly, no. Grade: C+

Anger Management in 25 words or less:

It's Hollywood trench warfare, nothing more (sadly) and nothing less (thankfully). The "making of" featurette probably shows the filmmakers painting by numbers. Grade: C

Bend it Like Bekham in 25 words or less:

Not as good as you've heard (or hoped), but a fine multi-generational renter with modestly funny bits and moderately inspiring moments. Grade: Bñ
