Cthulhu 500 — It Lives!
I just received my first display of fresh-off-the-presses, just-delivered-to-the-warehouse, not-(quite)-yet-available-in-stores Cthulhu 500 games. Wahoo!
Although the UPS guy who delivered the games was my favorite person in the world for a few moments, Cthulhu 500 graphic designer Scott Reeves is my new favorite person, and will remain so for much longer than the UPS man's tenure. The art and graphics for the game are even better than my wildest, most fevered imaginings. Michelle Nephew, the game's editor at Atlas, also deserves a large helping of kudos for her skill, tenacity, and patience in getting the whole package into such great shape. w00t!
You can order a copy of Cthulhu 500 from Warehouse 23, Atlas Games' official online retailer. However, if you have a friendly local gaming store, it's even better if you buy it there. If they see copies flying off the shelves, they'll make sure to keep it in stock and talk it up to their other customers, which will sell more and more. If your FLGS doesn't have a copy in stock, ask them to order one for you. It's Atlas Games product number AG1260 / ISBN 1-58978-057-4. In the unlikely event that they refuse to order it, at least your request will have put it on their radar.
