Cowbell Filter

I haven't been particularly fond of the "jefftidball.com" logo-thing since... well, ever, really, so today I tried to improve it. Instead, I just used more Photoshop filters. This, I think, is the visual design equivalent of "more cowbell!"

Anyway, there it is; I'm open to critique. For starters, I don't think it's using the space quite right. Even though I'm not against it crawling out of its space on the stripe a little bit, I don't think this version uses the horizontal space very well, and I don't think the solution is to just stretch it out.

The way the distressed final F in "Jeff" folds into your surname makes it seem as if you are Jeff Ridball.

Talk about things you're blind to when you're looking at what you know is your own name. You're totally right, but even so, I still have trouble seeing anything other than what I know it's supposed to be every third time or so that I look at it.
