A Short Excerpt from the Minnesota Building Code

R703.6.4 Weep screeds. A minimum 0.019-inch (No. 26 galvanized sheet gage), corrosion-resistant weep screed with a minimum vertical attachment flange of 3-1/2 inches shall be provided at or below the foundation plate line on exterior stud walls in accordance with ASTM C 926.
Honestly, I have no idea where to even begin parsing that. Best to respond with one of the time-honored methods of making it sound dirty:

"I've got your weep screed right here," or

"I'm providing a minimum vertical attachment flange of 3-1/2 inches right now, if you know what I mean."

Also, "Weep Screed" is clearly a band.

Weep Screeds is the band and "minimum 0-1-9" is their first album.

Vertical Attachment Flange is the album where Weep Screed really takes off, though. That's when they make their money and put real stress on their friendship.
