About an hour ago, I sent off the last batch of my contribution to Fireborn, which was an enormous relief. Parts of it were very difficult to write, and writing on a project I ultimately don't control proved to be hard on me. Also, I felt very keenly, throughout the process, how every hour I spent working on it was not an hour spent pushing a screenplay — any screenplay — forward.
